THE MARKETING PRE-LAUNCH
This page was added on March 1, 2001, in response to the numerous inquiries as to why VMSK isn't actually available yet. Further, there has been some confusion about the relationship between AlphaCom Communications, AlphaCom Opportunity, and iMagic Network. We hope this will clarify much for you regarding this phenomenal marketing opportunity.
THREE COMPANIES -- The primary focus of iMagic Network (IMN -- the marketing organization, formerly AlphaCom Opportunity -- AO) is to gear-up to market VMSK once it is released by AlphaCom Communications (ACC -- the technology company and producer of VMSK). In the interim, ACC is offering a wide variety of high quality products and services, to give their IMN Distributors something to market while we all wait for VMSK. IMN is an established ISP (Internet Service Provider), and ACC is an established Internet and telecommunications products producer. Both companies already have quite an impressive product and service inventory, but that's not what this PRE-LAUNCH is all about.
Pre-launches are a lot like the beta testing phase of any new software. Hopefully all of the bugs get worked out before the product is released. However, pre-launches are often (like betas) accompanied by false starts, modifications, confusion, and sometimes chaos. It's the nature of the beast. So, understandably, there have been questions regarding the current product lines that are available for qualified Distributors to sell today, and the VMSK technology product and service that is yet to come. NOW HEAR THIS -- The current product inventory of ACC and IMN is entirely unrelated to this marketing pre-launch. VMSK is destined to overshadow anything any tech company is offering at present.
TWO DISTRIBUTORSHIPS -- ACC was approached by an experienced marketing organization with the proposal to be granted "near exclusive" rights to market VMSK once it becomes available. That marketing organization formed AlphaCom Opportunity (AO) with the singular purpose of marketing VMSK. Only AO didn't want to wait until ACC released VMSK to begin setting-up the marketing program -- thus, this pre-launch. In November 2000, AO became iMagic Network (IMN). Signing up to become an iMagic Network Distributor is free and can be accomplished instantaneously online. IMN Distributors get a free replicated web site that is loaded with information on VMSK, and some of ACC's other (existing) products and services. But that's only half the picture...
In order to market VMSK through IMN, an IMN Distributor must then also become an ACC Distributor. IMN provides the signup form to become an ACC Distributor. The form is printed off, filled-out, and mailed to ACC along with the whopping $9.20 registration fee ($5.00 for the registration kit, $4.20 postage). Once ACC processes the application and assigns the IMN Distributor an ACC Distributor ID number, that's it -- you’re fully qualified to market VMSK once it is released, and fully qualified to market most of ACC's existing products and services (however, to market their InSat satellite system takes some in-house training).
ONE FOCUS -- Some frustration has been expressed by new Distributors, mostly out of misunderstandings as to what is actually going on. We can't emphasize enough -- this whole marketing program is, at present, still in PRE-LAUNCH. True, that means that not everything about the product and marketing program is worked-out to the final detail. Yes, it can get confusing and sometimes frustrating for someone who is highly motivated to get started. But the advantages of getting in at this pre-launch phase are well worth the patience needed at this point in time. With a product as phenomenal as VMSK promises to be, getting in on the "ground floor" through this pre-launch is an excellent opportunity. But pre-launches (like betas) are always unsettled affairs.
VMSK has been in development for at least 15 years. There is already much information available about it and, with the exception of some proprietary matters regarding how ACC will be applying VMSK to actual Internet transmissions, it is wide open to inspection. Every electrical and telecom engineer that has reviewed the tech specs of VMSK to date has reported back positively, if not enthusiastically. It's real. The time to become a Distributor is now, before VMSK hits the streets and the Internet. Those who wait until after VMSK is actually released will miss out.
